HOUSTON, Texas — More than 100 gambling machines were found inside a church in Houston.
Firefighters made the discovery after responding to reports of flames inside the Word of Life Church last week.
Harris County Sheriff's Deputies arrested several people at the scene.
'What happened here last night is completely separate from the Word of Life Church. There are two different entities in this church that are separated by this wall and a wrought iron fence which is outside and we have no access over there,” said Houston pastor Anthony Scott.
